Lagoon 47 Active Cruises (2027)

  • NEW FOR 2027 ! ! !Bedrooms
  • 2027Bathrooms
  • Trogir (Split)Area

Our top pick. The Lagoon 47 sits in a sweet spot between luxury, performance, and price. It is the first in this range with a true flybridge, a dedicated crew cabin, and a door from the saloon straight to the forward cockpit.

That forward cockpit has a table and full benches. Aft, the sliding bay opens the saloon to the rear cockpit. The covered flybridge has a side helm, close to both decks. Below there are five cabins, including a VIP with its own cockpit access. Crew have a separate cabin, so guest space stays private.

Onboard with Active Cruises

  • Captain Igor Stropnik

25 years at sea, RYA Yachtmaster Ocean certified, and a true lover of the Adriatic. Igor has delivered catamarans across oceans, sailed solo to the Arctic, and knows these waters like few others. On board, he's your captain, your guide, and your go-to for hidden bays and the best local table in town. Check his adventures: @IgorStropnik

  • Dedicated Hostess / Cook

With a fully equipped galley, she's less hostess, more private chef. Expect quality local dishes, fresh ingredients, and meals that hold their own against the best restaurants ashore. On a still evening in a quiet bay, dinner on board is often the best meal of the week.

  • Aerial view of a Lagoon 46 catamaran sailing in clear turquoise water, surrounded by green hills and several other sailboats in the distance under a blue sky.

    Friday check-in

Avoid the crowds and get a head start on your adventure. Starting a day early means you'll enjoy peaceful bays, uncrowded restaurants, and empty marinas. Since 99% of charters begin on Saturday, your route will stay calm and uncrowded. It's a true game changer that you'll love.

  • A white Lagoon 46 sailboat floats in clear turquoise water near a forested shoreline with a sandy beach and dock. The lush green trees surround the area as the water transitions from teal to deep blue.

    Included

Enjoy great extras for a perfect trip: 2 free SUPs, snorkeling gear, a hands-on sailing course, and a high-speed dinghy for hidden coves. Plus, a private buoy in Bol, Brač, and convenient online and early check-in without any extra fees.

  • Dedicated Crew Cabin

The Lagoon 47 offers a fifth cabin. A feature rarely seen below 55 feet. The crew has their own private space and bathroom, keeping a clear separation between guests and crew. A well-rested, comfortable crew means better sailing, sharper decisions, and more energy for you. Everyone wins.

  • Front Cockpit Access

The Lagoon 47 has a door from the saloon straight onto the forward cockpit. That used to be a 60-foot Lagoon feature. Step straight from the interior onto a 12 m² foredeck with a fixed table and bench seating, creating an effortless flow from stern to bow. Three distinct outdoor spaces, connected without barriers.

  • Flybridge Made for Living

The Lagoon 47's flybridge offers the best of all worlds. A generous sunbathing area to soak up the day, a shaded lounge with a table for relaxed dining or drinks, and a dedicated helm station for the skipper. Guests enjoy their space, the captain focuses on the passage. Everything in its place, nothing in the way.

  • The Heart of the Boat

The Lagoon 47's cockpit comfortably seats up to nine people. Shaded, sociable, and open to the saloon for an effortless indoor-outdoor flow. Whether it's a sundowner, a lazy afternoon at anchor, or dinner under the stars, there's room for everyone. Steps away, the flybridge is always within easy reach.

  • Watermaker + tap water filter

A watermaker means you don’t need a marina just to refill. Filtered water anytime, and you can stay at anchor as long as you like.

  • Full of energy

We’re proud to offer over 1.3 kW of solar power, giving you silent, eco-friendly comfort without using the generator. Enjoy full independence with everything running on solar energy.

Frequently Asked Questions

If this is your first time visiting Croatia, we wouldn’t recommend a one-way sailing trip. It often means longer travel times and missing out on some of the most charming nearby destinations. A one-way is possible, but it is a longer, less convenient week. Dubrovnik has no marina close in, and you lose time on the main island circuit. Better to see Dubrovnik before or after the charter. The taxi from the base is about three hours.

However, if you’ve already experienced the classic routes and are looking for a bit more adventure, action, and variety, then a one-way sailing trip can be an incredible choice. It allows you to cover more ground, discover hidden coves and lesser-known islands, and enjoy a real sense of journey and accomplishment as you sail further along Croatia’s breathtaking coast. It’s perfect for experienced sailors or returning guests eager to explore something new and exciting. Price is 600€ + marina fee, but please contact us for the best option.

Marina or buoy fees typically range from €50 to €200 per night. Anchoring is free, and many seaside restaurants offer complimentary docking, allowing you to avoid most of these charges. Fuel costs are usually around €300 per week, though you can easily reduce this by anchoring more often and enjoying time under sail instead of using the motor.

You can cancel free of charge in case of a border closing (or any other Force majeure). In case of normal conditions, we will make a credit note for your week, but only after we manage to sell your boat/date. You are free to transfer this credit note to your future reservation. You can also insure your trip with your insurance company, which is cheap and recommended.

May and October. Quieter bays and better value: fewer boats, lower prices, a slower pace on the water.

June and September. The better middle: reliable weather, lively ports that are not packed, and prices that are still reasonable.

July and August. Peak season: warm water and a busier coast. Popular spots fill up, but a good captain still finds quiet bays. A Friday start helps you leave before the Saturday rush.

Croatia is one of the best destinations in the world for family sailing. Yes – the distances between the islands are short, making navigation easy and relaxing even for beginners. The Adriatic Sea is usually calm, and the countless islands along the coast offer excellent protection from winds and waves, ensuring a comfortable cruise for everyone on board.

Kids usually love it: jumping into clear bays, swimming, and finding beaches you can only reach by boat. Each day brings a new adventure, whether it’s discovering a charming fishing village, spotting dolphins, or enjoying fresh seafood in a seaside restaurant. With warm weather, safe waters, and plenty of places to stop and swim, Croatia offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable family holiday at sea.

You can pay via IBAN bank account, US (Checking) bank account, credit card, Paypal or Crypto. The deposit 30% – 50% is paid at the reservation, and the rest 30 days before the check-in date.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:
No security deposit if you book with our crew. Deposits apply only to bareboat charters. The refundable deposit is paid at the base (in cash or by card) before departure and returned after the boat is inspected and confirmed undamaged by our base team.

We do not offer anything less than 7 days in the full season. Also, it is impossible to see the best islands, as you need at least 6-7 days, to get the full experience and see the best places. 6-7 days on a boat passes very fast, as you have a new island for every day. All of the charters are operating the same way, especially in the full season.

We always recommend to take a hostess. She will take care of everything, from provisioning, cooking to cleaning. If not, you are always advised to make basic shopping before arriving to the base or after the check-in procedure. Please note that before the check-in procedure is done on boat, you are not allowed to bring your luggage or groceries on boat. While sailing you will probably moor on some of the island, and you must know that most of the villages and cities on the islands have shops and small markets, so we recommend you buy fresh local food.

In Croatia, upon arrival at the marina, proceed to the office to finalize your paperwork. Once your boat is cleaned, prepared technically, and checked, it’s ready for you to embark! You will be accompanied by a technician and a video check-in will take place. After the inspection of the boat, you are ready to sail away.

For all other destinations, check-in is performed by the skipper and one crew member together with someone from our base staff. They inspect the boat from stem to stern, and check that all the equipment is in place and functioning properly.

During check-in, you will also receive instructions on the operation of the specific yacht model you’ll be chartering. You and your crew will be given instructions regarding the use of toilet, septic tank, and propane for cooking. Should you have any questions or concerns, please ask our staff! If you detect any malfunctions, just call our service team! When you sign the takeover, ensure that any existing damage has already been written down. At check-out you will go through the boat again and be given the chance to rate our service.

A sailing license is required to charter and operate a yacht in Croatia, along with a valid VHF radio certificate.

Croatia recognizes many international licenses, so your existing one may already be valid. To be sure, check the official list published by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea.

No license? Book a local skipper at checkout. You stay legal, and you can just enjoy the week.

If you’re unsure which license you need, our charter team will be happy to help and guide you through the process.
